Kickin Back to the Beat!

It turned out a little darker than expected, when I scanned it in. Anyways I did it while listening to some music which is how it came about, it was done in Acryllic Paint, and it really means what it's title is! Enjoy the music that's out there!

Taaraju

Hi there! My name is Avery Kane, and here's my first post! I love painting pictures or drawing things that take me to other places. This piece I finished today, doesn't have a particular meaning, really, the idea for it came from some photos that a friend had sent me from their trip to India. Note the "shaman figure" at the bottom, and then I love playing with the human figure, so I chose to depict one of the moves sometimes a contortionist will perform on stage. The painting is a simple Acryllic painting and it is about 7x15 in size.
Not much else to say but please Enjoy, and feel free to comment, I call the piece "taaraju" which I believe is a hindu word that means balance in english.
