Notebook Treasure

This was a fun little project. I have been doing these small wacky figure drawings. They are inspired by tribal art and have been covering my notebooks for months. So I put them into a simple composition inked them and finished it in photoshop. Hope you enjoy!

Moses for my Birthday?

I did this drawing today, which so happens to be my birthday. It seems the older you get, the less exciting the prospect of getting older declines. This drawing is to depict Moses. When the Bible was translated from the original Greek to Latin some details were lost. In Greek, it described Moses as having rays of light radiating from his head. The closest word to rays in Latin was horns. Thus, in the Latin translation Moses had horns! Michelangelo sculpted several pieces with a horned Moses and I thought it would be fun to do my own... he looks quite intimidating!

Comics...

These comics were done in our sequential format studio class.
It was initially a drawing warm up..each person drew one frame on a piece of paper and then it was passed on (randomly) to another person to draw the second frame..and so on..
It was really cool to pick up where someone else left off and we ended up with a bunch of awesome comic strips!
