Didgeridoo
I made this Didgeridoo from a single board of maple that I cut in half, squared, and then hollowed out on both sides with a chisel and Di-grinder . I cut in some biscuit joints every 6 inches along the length of the walls to reinforce the two half's once they were glued together. Once glued together, I hand planed the square to get the outside shape of a tube, and then melted some beeswax and created the mouthpiece. What I'm working on now is the decorations, like the owl in the pictures. I plan to woodburn the entire instrument with various animals and possibly experiment with some home made wood stains.
